After popping the question, the next organic step for a couple is to start planning their wedding. For my client SB & Co, a Houston-based boutique wedding planner, I created thorough strategic blog post plan. Since the first step in her sales cycle is getting engaged, I began the blog series with this topic.
For SB & Co, the goals of this blog post were to build trust and establish expertise in the wedding industry. When you hire a wedding planner, you are entrusting them to responsibly and efficiently manage your budget. Choosing the right person with your coin purse is not a decision that is made on a whim. Creating helpful guides like The Ultimate Guide to Engagement Ring Shopping positions SB & Co as an expert in topics outside of planning and just associated with weddings.
To make this piece collaborative, I interviewed custom fine jeweler and Victory Rings President Matt Hall. This contribution undoubtedly enriched the blog and demonstrated the spirit of partnership. A wedding planner cannot pull off a wedding without a team of vendors therefore emphasizing the importance of partnership.
